On all marine parts / trailers we use an epoxy based primer which is baked on. Then the top coat (color layer) is sprayed on next and the curing process is completed. Powder coated surfaces provide the absolute best protection in marine environments.
Unlike traditional painting or anodizing, powder coat combats saltwater corrosion, flaking, chipping, fading due to ultra-violet rays, and general wear. As with all of our work, it is checked for thickness, gloss, adhesion, and cure.
